- A foreground: regular, geometrical and designed for human use.
- A middle ground: a serpentine park in the manner of Lancelot Brown.
- A background: natural scenery, as little affected by man as possible.

Week3-Reflection
This week's lecture was about "Picturesque", I've learned a few theories of that how to create a picturesque landscape. The Repton's guidelines rules made me very impressive and I found it was really helpful: A picturesque landscape was divided by 3 parts-A foreground; A middle ground; A background.
